Of course, we welcome any opportunity to spread the word about the event, but we have a few collaborative ideas in mind. Check 'em out and contact us if you'd like to work together. Or, if you have your own initiatives, we'd love to hear those too.
Before the Circus
We'd like to find a station or blog or two that's interested in highlighting different areas of the Circus leading up to the event. Maybe you're a radio station that brings all the bands in, one at a time, leading up to the event. You could do a band a day the week of, or a band a week for the month before. Or possibly you're a blog covering DIY, and maybe you'd like to interview all the folks leading the workshops at the event? Basically, any way where we can get several of the folks involved that will bring traffic to you and awareness to us.
At the Circus
We'd love a live contributor! Maybe you would like to tweet pictures throughout the event? Live blogging? Or maybe your station would like to be on-site and conduct interviews with the bands pre/post-performance? Let us know what you're interested in doing.
After the Circus
We're most excited about ideas that bring everyone together, so can you think of a way to bring the crowd into this? For example, we'll be doing lots of interactive things at the Circus, maybe you'd like to find participants throughout the day and offer them a way to share their experience through you? Maybe a series of contributions to your blog? Or user submitted photos?
